The man admits he has had enough now after slipping fast down the overall rankings in the final week of the gruelling race..."Physically, it's hard. I have had enough," he said. "I had dreamed of this stage because it is in my area.
"I could not stay in touch with my team-mates. It is tough to finish in my home stage with the grupetto."
