Bike.com | Aussie Evans Retires From Tour of Spain

Australian rider Cadel Evans of the Telekom team has retired from the Tour of Spain cycling race after breaking his collarbone in a fall, it was revealed on Tuesday.

The former mountain bike world champion, considered an outside bet for overall victory, did not start the fourth stage from Santander to Burgos following a fall in the closing stages a day earlier in rainy conditions.
