Van Bon takes Paris-Nice Stage 3

BBC SPORT | Van Bon in stage triumph

Leon Van Bon took the longest stage of this year's Paris-Nice in a very long breakaway. Van Bon and Thomas Ziegler broke away less than 20 miles into the race, built a lead of 15 minutes at one point, and stayed away to the end.

The peloton brought them back far enough that the riders were no threat to the overall standings, so Jorg Jaksche continues to lead the overall standings.
