Jan joking? Ja!
Procycling | D-Tour: 'Jan-Watcher' — stage 2
Tom Boonen won a field sprint at the Tour of Germany (in German) Tuesday, as nearly the entire field finished in a pack.
Jan Ullrich continues in 2nd, and is wearing the polka-dot jersey, based on his fastest time in the 1st half of yesterday's time trial. Ullrich couldn't resist a joke aimed at those concerned about his off-season weight gain:
"Not bad that, despite weighing 120 kilos [264 lbs.], I can still win a mountains jersey."
Tomorrow is the only day of big climbs, as riders climb two 1st-category slopes up to the Austrian resort in St. Anton.
