1 out of 2 ain't bad: Bush predicts win for Armstrong, self
President George W. Bush predicted two Texans will take repeat wins this year.
"He's going to win, and I'm going to win. There's no need to worry about either race anymore," Bush told reporters after watching the race aboard Air Force One en route to Tampa, Florida.
White House spokesman Scott McClellan added of Bush:
"He has been trying to follow the Tour de France, and he certainly is pulling for Lance Armstrong to capture his sixth title. And so he has been watching it with great interest," said McClellan.
Punch lines welcome.

Bush is an IDIOT,that surely is not in question; we'll just have to wait and see about Lance winning!
I live in Texas, however, I'm no Texan! And, would like to see a "Fresh Winner"!

Bush is like Lance, who will conquer Europe. Kerry would rather succumb, like Spain and France.

I agree, Bush IS like Lance. They both cheat to win.

Funny, "Al" doesn't really sound French....

Lance is going to stick it in France's face...again. HA! As for the political rhetoric, anyone who uses the phrase, Cheers, is NOT a Texan, so "kiss off you brie-eating-surrender-monkey".

Bush is not like Lance. Bush disdains France and is disdainful of any foreign culture. Lance likes France, respects the culture and has learned the language. Bush is MTB'er, while Kerry is a roadie who rides a Serotta. So, Kerry is more like Lance.
I bet Lance's private opinion is anti-Bush and probably would rather not have his success linked to Bush's.

Well, I am sure between the pop-up book version and the Cheney puppet reennactment of stage 12, Bush finally understood what was going on today.
"Yes, Mr. President, they are riding on bikes and it is a race. And yes, kinda like the race you are in with Kerry, but Lance has a much better chance of winning than you do."

America and the world will be a winner of Lance gets his 6th; America and the world will be a winner if Bush quits or gets trounced.

bush is like lance in that many seem to hate the guy on top...with little substantive reason, only a whimper of emotion.

Actually, they're are old friends from back in Bush's governor days in Texas. I wouldn't be surprised if Lance spoke or appeared at the Republican National Convention in September.

Yea cool! Bush is a mountain Biker. He loves getting dirty and pushing the necessary limits. Unlike that Roady Kerry, who stays with the pack and waits to see which direction to turn.
Everyone needs to quit hatin' on Lance and enjoy the spectacle of the Tour de France. Don't forget, You can't mess with Texas

Hey, lay off the politics you bunch liberal left leaning commie French loving cyclists...Lance is a great athelete and cyclist..to some Bush is a great president who was handed a big challenge as President and got a lot of the job done...Get over it, and enjoy the sport, don't mix it with your personal feelings for Bush.
(not from Texas and not a Bush supporter but I do love cycling)

I think that joining politics and this most highly honored cycling race is disrespecting the sport. Lance and Jan Ulrich an everyother rider should be left out. Try an enjoying the race for its beauty, elegance that has turned this race into what it is today. Awesome
i am a cyclist from belligham washington, who love cycling and thinks bush did the right thing, but leave politics out, this is just a sport!!

lance had his mission done right. he is a true victor. so, give them(cyclists) their due respect, away from politicizing their wins & successes in their do.
to those who have a tainting word on them, take a hike & show us what u got in their stead.
viva lance to me a kenyan aspiring cyclist. dont even dream the french - i say kenya - this kenyan boy!
and to lance, i think i can beat your record.
