Armstrong the cover boy

SI.com | Magazine

Outside Magazine, July 2005 | Tour de France 2005

We can look forward to a lot more of these, I think, but here are two of the first cover stories on Lance Armstrong's campaign for a 7th Tour win.

Sports Illustrated interviewed Armstrong during the Dauphiné Libéré. If you're an SI Extra member (including subscribers), you can view the story online; otherwise, check your local newsstand.

Outside features an excerpt from Daniel Coyle's new biography, Lance Armstrong's War, alongside stories about doping, up and coming South Carolina rider Craig Lewis, a US Postal “family tree,” and more, more, more Tour special content. Similarly, almost none of the content is available online until after the Tour.
