Astaná-Wuerth no more: Wuerth puts screws to team

ESPN.com | Wuerth out as co-sponsor of team in doping probe

German hardware company Würth is ending its sponsorship of the Astaná-Würth team, which pulled out of the Tour de France on Friday after 5 of its riders were named in the Operación Puerto dossier.

Team leader Alexandre Vinokourov hopes to buy out the controlling interest of Manolo Saiz in the team's management company, with the consortium of Kazakhstan's largest companies taking over the team's UCI license.
