Astana, Mazzoleni part ways

Eddy Mazzoleni, who was 3rd in this year's Giro d'Italia, has left the team (read: “Been asked to leave the team”) while his case is considered by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).
Mazzoleni is also among the riders being investigated for suspiciously low hormone levels at the Giro d'Italia.
