I fear it, but I must watch

I don't want to post any spoilers today about the time trials, but if you're a regular reader hereabouts, you probably don't want to miss the coverage (abysmal as it's likely to be) tonight on NBC.

this is a little non sequitor, but are females not allowed to ride in the tour? or are they generally just not as good riders as the guys so no teams have picked any up?

Females ride in the Female Tour de France, which was not held this year due to the Olympics.

About five minutes of coverage on NBC. They showed Eki, Julich, and Tyler at the third checkpoint and at the finish line.
