i have a question rather than a comment. i can't seem to find out why alexandre vinokourov wears different colors than his t-mobile teammates...can anyone tell me?

Amanda, those are the colors of Kazakhstan, and Vinokourov wears a jersey that recognizes he's the national champion.
The most obvious similar situation in the Tour this year is Robbie McEwen, who wears green and yellow stripes on a white jersey as the Australian champion, rather than Davitamon-Lotto's standard jersey.
I did a wrap-up of the national jerseys competing in this year's Tour back in June.

Does anyone have any logs of the comments that Phil Liggett makes during his coverage. I really chuckled over some of his commentary, like "Zabriskie is so far back you'd need binoculars to see him"...he had a couple of other great one liners that had me laughing hard...would love to re-read them.
