Live audio update

Here's one that actually seems to work, even on the Mac.

mms://vipeurosport.yacast.net/eus_streamlive3

You have to open Windows Media Player, the choose open URL and paste that text.

It's the British feed with David Duffield and Sean Kelly.

Thanks to Gary Butcher at MovingBrands.

http://wmedialive.coltfrance.com/tourfrance_com is another URL that works for WMP on the mac. it is also the same eurosport.com stream. follow the same instructions as above to get it to work.

Anybody get the Norwegian TV feed to stream this year? That worked well the last few years but seems to be blocked now...

Thanks. I've been looking for the feed location for a while. Also, can anyone tell me if the audio feed follows the same schedule as the Eurosport TV posted here?

It's a wonderful blog you have here and I've been enjoying it very much.

Just to update my earlier post: yes the feed does follow the TV schedule. I'm listening to the rebroadcast of today's stage as I am typing this. This is really awesome.

Hi,

I just wrote a little entry on my blog about my experimenting with the TdF live audio feed:

http://b0o2.blogspot.com/2005/07/tour-de-france-live-audio-feed.html

I found a free application called SDP that allows me to program a time to start and stop recording a live audio stream much like a VCR. So I won't need to stay up all night listening to the live coverage even if I manage to.

Thanks

For 2006 Macintosh OSX Tour De France listeners, open this url in your Windows Media Player. The Eurosport live feed coming out of their Flash based media page fails to open otherwise.

For those of you on OS X, or any other OS where you have mplayer, the mms URL posted by tom works...

BUT: it sounds like chipmunks until you hit { to change the sampling rate. I'm using version dev-CVS-0500May-17:40-3.3; other versions might get the sample rate right automatically.
