Rumor mill was right: Armstrong, Crow split

Statesman.com | Lance and Sheryl are no more

The Austin American-Statesman reports that “a spokesman for Armstrong's agent” confirmed that the pop-singer and the retired 7-time Tour winner have called it quits.

“After much thought and consideration we have made a very tough decision to split up,” the couple said in a joint statement. “We both have a deep love and respect for each other, and we ask that everyone respect our privacy during this very difficult time.”

We need details on this! Was he all not riding agitated? Was she too hollywood and didn't need his money? I mean c'mon, this was the spiritual love "on Oprah" couple and now all busted up . . .

What do you need to know, people date, engage and break up all the time. Lets just hope he comes back and does some other races just to shut up the na sayers. God knows he will never do the Tour again after the L'Equippe nightmare. I think he has proven that no one can match him in a stage race so it pointless to race the Giro or the Vuelta. Would be kind of funny if he did decide to come back to the tour, Id love to see the look on Jean Marie LeBlancs face as he Lance rides by and gives him the finger!!

What I'd rather see is Lance getting caught for doping. Can you imagine the horrific look on you numbskulls' face? Shut up with the Lance is god bs already. All of you Armstrong fans (pre-1999 fans excluded) didn't know what a bicycle was until he won the "Miraculous" tour in 1999. I'm glad he is retired. Time for you idiots to hang up those wheels or if you are true fans enjoy the sport and appreciate the sport as an international sport not as an American-centric sport. I am tired of seeing the headlines read how far Armstrong is in or from the lead instead of who is in the lead during the Tour.

hey jayman are you sure lance had used dope? well if not jusr shut up and let him do what he wants to do with his life. do you ride a bicycle? do you join cycling tournaments? well i do and i know what it feels like to be told that you do dope ok! maybe if you would be great if you would hang yourself instead of the wheels ok.
