While many Tour de France GC hopefuls are racing at Paris-Nice this week, word comes that 1997 winner and 6-time podium finisher Jan Ullrich still hasn't pinned down any race dates for the 2006 season.

Ullrich is training with Rudy Pevanage in Tuscany, and is expected to meet with T-Mobile DS Olaf Ludwig “in the next few days” to lay out a competition plan geared nearly 100 percent on getting Jan another Tour win.

Ullrich is Lance Armstrong's pick to take the overall in the 2006 Tour.
