Tour Web Tech

Upping the ante in online tour tech is the Interactive Feature: Tour de France from the NYTimes. Like the Velonews Ticker, the feature includes live commentary, standings, and profiles, but it's more polished and complete.

Thanks Bobj! Add me to the list of people that had no idea about his hip condition. I also hadn't read that yet in the magazine, as it's not out until next week. Great find. I'll post on it.

ESPN offers the same tour tracking app. Looks very similar to the one they ran last year.

I love how they stick cycling under 'Olympic Sports'.
