Armstrong's "separated at birth" partners

TMZ.com | Lance's Ladies Look Alike

Most of us have noticed the physical similarities between Lance Armstrong's ex-wife, Kristin, and his ex-fiancee, Sheryl Crow.

TMZ.com notes that the pattern continues with Armstrong's latest girlfriend, designer Tory Burch.

TMZ doesn't mention the, um, more Freudian aspect of the story -- Armstrong's mother, Linda Armstrong Kelly.

TMZ does mention the other blonde god, good old Matthew Mc C.
How pathetic can he get. Dating someone who can get him some limelight is the only way to get any media coverage. And he seems to need media coverage like a guy with fangs and a black cape needs blood.

What does any of this have to do with bicycle racing? Why don't all of you insatiably jealous do-nothings just grow up and focus on the real news - bicycle racing and the racers athleticism and statistics. If you can't quell the need to gossip, go find a back fence and a mouthy neighbor. Leave the sports world to those who appreciate sports and its wondrous athletes.

Wes -- I think the 2200 posts on this weblog shows that I'm interested in the “real news” in the bike racing world.

Every now and then, though, something fun or funny comes along, and the great thing about having a weblog is, I get to decide what I think is worth posting.

Dating back to 2002, when I first started posting on the Tour, I've posted about Sheryl Crow a few times, Lance Armstrong's divorce a couple of times, Jan Ullrich's split and marriage, and very little else that's not racing related.

If you want to do it differently, I'll be happy to add your Tour weblog to my blogroll.
