Cadel Does Attack!

YouTube videos of Cadel attacking . . . reporters. There's Don't Touch Me, I Cut Off Your Head, and the head butt:

We heard about a finger to a reporter, a thrown helmet, but haven't seen it. Aussies defend him: maybe his shoulder, the pressure, or he's just an ass.

A reporter interviews Cadel's thrown helmet and Bike Radar reports on Cadel losing it.

Hmmm... a rider in pursuit of a long-term goal falls and injures his shoulder, threatening his and his team's achievement and causing him pain - yet carries on relentlessly despite obvious discomfort. Why would he get passionate, excited or angry about any of that? Especially when kind thoughtful people like journos want to stand in his path or tap him on the back. I don't know **any** other rider who gets angry like this, surely this is a first!

Seriously, you must be kidding. There are bigger fish to fry, like the constantly unravelling story of ex-Postal and ex-Discovery riders who suddenly, inexplicably turn out to be hollow men. Smoke? Fire? Go catch some real fish guys.

We don't "hate Cadel" here or anything. The media covered his antics and we posted with our angle. As I said on Bike Hugger, Lance wasn’t exactly remembered as Mr. Nice Guy, but did know how to handle the media.

There’s probably lots of frustration for him as well, being so beat up by CSC and with no teammates in the high mountains. He said so today in interviews. To hold on like that with no one helping is certainly admirable.
